Why families stay
A family does not need one dentist. It needs a first visit at age one, a specialist when a tooth finally gives out, and somebody who picks up on a Sunday.
The problem: a child outgrows the paediatric office, and the family starts again with a stranger.
The ADA and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry say the first visit belongs at age one. Two board-certified pediatric dentists take it here, in this building, and the same building keeps the patient for the next sixty years.

Dr. Kimberly Farrell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, with a certificate in prosthodontics and implant surgery. Crowns, implants and full reconstruction stay in the practice rather than crossing town.

Six days a week, and the first chair of the day is at 7:00am on every one of them. Thursday runs to seven at night, Saturday to one. Outside those hours one of the dentists is always on call.

Columbia dental school, then back to the town he was raised in. He and his wife Peg brought up their own two children in Westport, and there are three grandchildren now. His rule is the one his father set in 1963: patients are part of an extended family, not a list of appointments.

A full medical and dental history, then a comprehensive examination and a periodontal evaluation, with the radiographs needed to see the tooth structure above and below the gum line. Treatment is reviewed with you afterwards, and the plan is built to fit your schedule.
